Simplified and clarified messaging about Mac OSX support: It is not
supported. Also added clarity about bash version requirements, i.e.
requires bash 4.x+, works with 5.x+. (Lack of support for Mac OSX is
for several reasons, one being that Mac OSX as of Sequoia ships only
with bash 3.x).
