Getting these files compiled with a modern
compiler requires a bit more work. There are C syntax errors which
have gone from warnings to full-blown errors with recent versions of
gcc (labels at end of blocks for example) that need some work.
The hacks I used to get it compiling for testing are so embarrassing I
don't want to submit them yet. :)
