PIPER README

NOTE: Streams is currently not supported. This is because the user interaction (clicking
on server directories and adding them to your workspace view) is not compatible with
Streams.

NOTE: There have been some issues reported regarding SSL (libraries not linked in) as well
as issues regarding unicode servers 

User System Requirements:
- Mac OS 10.8 or higher
- Windows 7 or higher, .Net 4.5

Development System Requirements:
  Mac:
    - Mac OS 10.8 or higher
    - Xcode 5.x
  Windows:
    - Visual Studio 2012

Perforce Service Requirements:
- Perforce version 2013.x or higher

- For search functionality to work:
  - p4-search installed and configured
  - set p4search.url key on the server to the base url (e.g. http://server:port) of the p4-search server

- For tagging functionality:
  - SubmitTagger.py change-submit trigger must be configured

- For thumbnails:
  - p4thumb or ThumbnailGenerator.py generating thumbnail images
