  14. John-Mason is a software engineer with special expertise in enterprise web applications and development tools. Presently responsible for overseeing SCM related activities for over a dozen development teams and more than 200 developers, requirements analysts, QA teams, process auditors and support staff at Pearson Education&rsquo;s Educational Measurement division, a CMM level 4 organization. </p>

  16. <p>Responsibilities include:</p>
  17. <ul>
  18. <li>establishing development standards, procedures, and tooling for use across our organization</li>
  19. <li>developing (or licensing) and implementing new development tools</li>
  20. <li>training administrators and end users of development tools including Perforce, build systems and other home-grown tooling</li>
  21. <li>advising and/or instructing SCM leads, process engineers, auditors, and software architects in matters related to SCM and development tooling</li>
  22. </ul>
  23. <p>SCM tool experience includes: Perforce, CVS, and PVCS Version Manager among others. </p>
  24. <p>Development languages include: Ruby, Java, PHP, Perl, Visual Basic, SQL, etc.</p>
