  19. <p>Currently, I am doing internal Perforce consulting as a senior software configuration
  20. management engineer at Docent, Inc.  I am also maintaining and developing the installers
  21. of Docent software on NT (using <i>InstallShield</i> and <i>Wise Solutions</i>), Solaris,
  22. and HP-UX and acting as <i>Buildmeister</i> for all Docent releases on these platforms.

  24. <p>Prior to my role at Docent, Inc., I led software configuration management 
  25. efforts and the promotion of <code>makefile</code> guidelines for eight years in 
  26. the Operating Systems and Networking organization at Sun Microsystems, Inc.
  27. In this role, I supported several hundred engineers in use of the <i>Network
  28. Software Environment</i> and subsequently <i>TeamWare</i>, working closely with
  29. the development teams of both CM tools.  I helped design and implement
  30. package definitions for Solaris releases from 2.0 to 2.5.  More recently, I worked
  31. as an SCM consultant on an Interactive TV project while living in Hong Kong for three years.

  33. <p>My formal education is in music (a B.A. in bassoon performance) and business
  34. (an M.S. in Quantitative Business Methods), along with extensive coursework
  35. in philosophy and computer science.
